Grab your running shoes and get ready for the 4th Annual Run for the Falcons 5k on the evening of Friday, January 13, 2017. Proceeds benefit the Jensen Beach High School (JBHS) boy’s lacrosse team and 10 percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Kyle Conrad Foundation. This out and back road race will begin at Jensen Beach High School at 6 p.m. and finish under the lights at Falcon Stadium. Touch A Truck is an interactive event for children and the young at heart at the Martin County Fairgrounds. The 2016 event drew more than 1,300 attendees and raised $10,000, double last year's proceeds. The event benefits the Early Learning Coalition of Indian River, Martin and Okeechobee counties.Touch a Truck allows children the opportunity to climb on, learn about and discover their favorite big trucks and vehicles including police cars, cement trucks, tow trucks and fire-trucks, just to name a few! Marathon of the Treasure Coast

The Treasure Coast Marathon will hold its 4th annual multi-format event on March 5, 2017. The marathon route winds through the charming streets of Stuart and Sewall’s Point, over three beautiful bridges with amazing views and along a coastal beach road. Walkers and runners have the option of participating in a range of events and can also raise money for charity. Lisa Holland serves as the Business Development Manager for this highly successful event that has raised $63,640 for charities in the past three years.
